In the case of LeBron James •@kingjames•, the word clutch is only brought up whenever his team lose. Does being clutch means less than 24 seconds on the clock with the game tied or the opponent leading? He made it against the Orlando Magic with 0.3 seconds remaining hitting a game winning three-pointer for the Cleveland Cavaliers right? But still, he's capability is still questioned.
Some of us basically look at LeBron only at one side. The part where he passes the ball in the dying seconds of the game to an open man to take the shot. We often shout while watching him to shoot the ball even with two or three defender's hand at his face. Now I ask you, how much do you understand basketball?
Face it. Whether he pass or miss the shot, you will still criticize him.
We usually forget the essence of the game. The fundamentals of teamwork that brought the 1996-1998 Chicago Bulls or the recently eliminated San Antonio Spurs to greatness. Basketball is a team sport and doing your role in the team is your job. LeBron is not a scorer in this team. He is the leader.
45-15-5.
Points. Rebounds. Assists.
Another game we will be watching during the LeBron highlight reel at his hall of fame induction.
Its easy to direct a game while you're watching on your couch eating popcorn and drinking beer. Its different when you're out there, having thousands of fans screaming at you in the arena and millions watching at home. Come on. Put yourself in his shoes and knock down those fade aways and win a game. Again, being clutch is yourself in a critical situation. Playing beyond your limits in an elimination game is clutch. Forty plus minutes of nerve-breaking basketball hitting down 30 points at the half missing only two attempts is clutch. If we are talking fairly in this matter.
I know its early for this write up and this post will have a dozen of negative comments if the Heat gets eliminated. We still have a game 7 on sunday here in the Philippines. We are only almost 3/4 of the way done with Durantula watching at his pad. LeBron can still as some may call it be LeChoke. But who cares, its not always his fault. Its the whole teams fault if they lose.

See you all on sunday for the finale.
